Searching & Filtering POs

The PO list page includes the same powerful search, filter, and saved view tools available across Mod AI. Use them to quickly find the purchase orders you need.

The search bar at the top of the PO list lets you search by:

  • PO number -- Type a full or partial PO number to find matching results.
  • Vendor name -- Search by vendor to find all POs for a specific supplier.

Start typing and the list filters in real time. Clear the search field to show all POs again.

Filters

Click the Filters button to narrow the PO list by specific criteria:

FilterWhat It Does
StatusShow only POs with a specific status (Open, Partially Received, Fully Received, Closed, Voided)
VendorShow POs for a specific vendor or set of vendors
Date RangeShow POs created within a specific date range
Amount RangeShow POs within a minimum and/or maximum total amount

You can combine multiple filters at the same time. For example, filter by "Open" status and a specific vendor to see all active POs for that supplier.

To remove a filter, click the X next to it or click Clear All Filters.

Column Customization

You can control which columns appear in the PO list:

  1. Click the Columns button (or column settings icon) above the table.
  2. Check or uncheck columns to show or hide them.
  3. Your column preferences are saved for your account.

This is useful if you want to add additional columns or hide columns that are not relevant to your workflow.

Sorting

Click any column header to sort the PO list by that column. Click again to reverse the sort order. An arrow icon on the column header indicates the current sort direction.

Common sorting options:

  • Sort by Date to see the most recent or oldest POs first.
  • Sort by Amount to find the highest or lowest value POs.
  • Sort by Status to group POs by their current state.

Saved Views

If you frequently use the same combination of filters, column settings, and sorting, save it as a view so you do not have to set it up every time.

Creating a Saved View

  1. Set up your filters, columns, and sorting the way you want.
  2. Click Save View.
  3. Give the view a name (e.g., "Open POs - Unmatched").
  4. Click Save.

Using a Saved View

Saved views appear in a dropdown above the PO list. Select a view to instantly apply its filters, columns, and sort order.

Editing or Deleting a Saved View

To update a saved view, apply it, make your changes, and save it again with the same name. To delete a saved view, open the view dropdown and click the delete icon next to the view name.

tip

Create a saved view for "Open POs without matched invoices" to quickly spot POs that have not yet been invoiced. This is useful for tracking outstanding commitments.
